Listen to the Crickets

Hi to the people of the world,

Welcome to my blog. I’ve never seriously been dedicated to a blog, whether it be reading it or writing it, so this is a new experience for me. I’m starting this blog as a 19-year-old, almost, sophomore in college who’s recently been absorbed by boredom. Although boredom is often related to freedom, it’s been starting to feel almost Hellish to me. The past three weeks have made me eager to start my summer classes and my upcoming internship at a nearby law firm.

I’ve never seriously thought of myself as a writer. I’d rather label myself as just a woman who inherently believes that everyone needs to know her every thought at all times, and a blog sounds like the perfect outlet to make that happen. I’m not expecting much from this, but it would be pretty awesome if I gained like one reader. Maybe even a fan. Haha.

Besides boredom, trying to regain my sense of passion for life is the main reason that pushed me to start this blog. I feel as if I’ve fallen out of love with myself and the world around me, which has made it hard to enjoy the time I’ve been given to flow through here on earth. Death has been considered, but hopefully this page will get my creative juices flowing again and help me regain an attachment to my existence.
